help! just had invertor recall done 2 weeks ago, car wouldn't start
I just had the invertor recall done two weeks ago, and then my wife got stranded this morning for about 20 minutes. All the lights on the dash (6 yellow on the left, 2 yellow on the right) would go on and car is in P, but the READY light wouldn't go on. Wife said she heard a few clicks when trying to start. About 20 minutes since the initial failure, then it started.
Is this related to the recall (invertor)? What do I need to do to convince Lexus to look at this? It seems like it could be an intermittent problem which as it always go, won't happen when you take it to the dealer.

has it happened more then once?
this happened once to me during my ownership... the car wasnt on 'ON' mode and i was filling up the air in the tires and i noticed the compressor getting weaker.... so i figured i the battery was weak.
afterwords the car wouldn't start. gave it 30 mins the car started fine so i drove it on the highway immediately.
if you are on your original battery (as i am) i would be prepared to have your battery swapped out anytime, as your battery has to be at least 5 years old.

check the terminals, perhaps they are loose. the battery is to be dissconnected when they do the recall (they disconnected mine and i lost all my settings). if your battery is pretty much brand new i would make sure right away that the terminals are on properly (after the dealer fudged with it)
