Run-flat tires on gs450h for winter driving??
I have run flat tires on my GS450h. They are Bridgestone® brand Turanza ER33™ RFT Run-Flat tires in size 245/40ZR18. From lexus.com website, it says these tires are summer RFT. And on the bridgestone website, these tires are described as having summer tread pattern.
"The Bridgestone Turanza ER33 RFT, a member of the Bridgestone Turanza original equipment touring tire family, features a summer tread pattern and blends high performance characteristics with touring ride comfort."
I live in San Francisco Bay Area and it doesn't snow here but could get very wet when it rains a lot. I am just wondering if these tires are suitable for driving in wet weather.

I can't speak with any authority but I would think those tires should be okay for wet conditions. Road and Track had an article last November I think comparing a number of Pirelli run flat tires and the summer tires did just fine in all conditions but snow. I don't think there was a meaningful difference between the Pirelli all seasons and the summer tires in wet conditions in their testing. You might want to look it up to get the real facts and details.
I also have the 450h but mine came with the Turanza RFT all season tire since the car was purchased and will be driven in the Northwest and we do get some snow, but not much to worry about.

Here's a link to the R&T article I mentioned testing the Pirelli runflats and also a quote from it:
"In rainy weather, provided the day isn't a frigid one, a summer tire beats its all-season counterpart."

I put a set of Bridgestone Blizzaks on my 430 because we needed to hit some snow country occasionally in the winter. I found them a bit squirmy in the dry but seemed to do well otherwise. I tend not to push them hard in any event.
