Default Dread winter~~Studded tires?

Need two toyota wheels with studded tires for my Lexus GS-300...winter wx is nearing and I plan on fitting out with studs on the rear. I guess as long as the tires(studded) somewhat match the circumference of the ones on the front that'll be OK right? I need traction and help with this. Thanks!!

Any reasons why you can't go with some dedicated winter tires like the Bridgestone Blizzak series? Studded tires are generally better used for roads with ice on them. If the road you're driving on only consists of snow, then winter tires are usually more effective than studded tires.

If your roads are ICEY and you dont mind the vibration coming from the rear, then perhaps studded tires will be okay.

I drove in PA when I went to Monticello in my GS after fresh powder. The blizzaks held like champs.
