I wish the headlights had the LED strips
#16
Looks like you put them on the outside of the light? Had talked to a guy I know about adding LEDs on the inside of the headlight, but have found it to be too much of a process at this point.

I took it off after tho because it looks too aftermarket and i felt that it made the car look a bit cheap

Also where did you get those strips from and how much did they cost you?
Lastly, were they flexible strips?
Thank you.

I installed them outside. I got these strips from Asia, price i do not remember because they are relatively inexpensive. I am guessing all the material combined would be less than 30 bucks? These are flexible strip
I do not recommend installing these outside of your headlight tho. Even if they say it is water resistance they would still flicker and shuts off when it is wet; I believe mainly due to the pressure that is excreted on the LED between the light assembly and the front bumper. Any other LED strips would be too thick to slide into that slot.
Secondly, these LEDs are more to the 7000~8000K colour range. which is extremely blue for my taste and does not match my 4300K headlight. so i simply swap them out after.
If enough people are interested, maybe we can make a 3D model and get a company to mass produce some LED add-on for the inside of our HS headlights? that way, we could bring down the cost.

Were you running a wire to the low beam power source? If so how did you get the wires back there?
I am thinking of ordering one of those flexible strips but wasn't sure how well they would stick to the headlight glass/bumper. Also I have no idea how to get power to them.
Here is my thread that is talking about my light mods.
