Some help buying 2011 GX460
Hey guys,
I need some help, This forum was great to help me find a 2006 SC430 5 years ago and I'm hoping you could help me out again.
I need to help my parents get a 2011 CPO. How reliable is that car? Is it the same reliable that I'm used to seeing in an 2001-2006 LS430 and the SC430?
Can I expect it to be trouble-free for the next 10 years with regular maintenance?
Also, what should I look for in this car? Any specific packages that I should/shouldn't get?
I understand it's air suspension that will need to be replaced at some point. Any ideas at around what mileage I can expect to do that?
Would really appreciate your help. Thanks everyone

Reliability
Like you I'm hoping these vehicles can go 200K+ without major issues. Since the 2nd Gens just came out in 2010 there aren't going to be many high mileage examples to judge from yet.
For what it's worth:
1) Premium models come with air shock ride control standard. May be an option on Base models not sure - I didn't run across any shopping in the Midwest nor do I miss it but I don't tow often.
2) Some Toyota trucks including the GX are having expensive emissions problems. You can find threads about this on this forum. So far as I know Toyota isn't covering this problem for vehicles out of warranty with the exception of the Tundra. I just paid $2200 to have this fixed on a 4th Gen 4Runner with just 125K miles. Not end if the world but just to be aware.
Good luck!
