That looks bad! I thought the plastic had some sort of anti-glare coating on it, because when the sun shines on it, I see a little bit of green and blue glare.

Maybe TX sunshine is worse than Vegas? I sometime has a little glare, but not like that bad, I can still see the dash quite well

I have had my GX for over a week and today I noticed the glare for the first time. It was about 1 pm and I noticed that the glare is coming from the top of the steering column. If you cover the top of the gauge cliuster the glare went away. My wife noticed the glare a couple of days ago also.

I just noticed the glare for the first time today.

I think it only occurs when the sun is at a specific angle.

I'm surprised I didn't notice it sooner.

While paying attention to the glare I have noticed that I have nice two scratches on the glass there. Since I have never cleaned the car inside, looks like cleaning folks at the dealer have to done. Too bad I didn't notice that earlier.

and Yes I have a glare too at some parts of the day

I reported to my dealer's service dept. They are going to forward the issue to Lexus for investigation. Hopefully, they will have a remedy soon.

I noticed the glare right away. Picked up the GX in the afternoon. Did not notice any glare test driving a few months ago during the late morning.

The plastic cover over steering column is causing the glare. It uses a reflective plastic and at a right angle reflects it against instrument pannel.

Instrument cluster glass scratches very easily so be careful when cleaning. While getting my car cleaned by the dealer, they have put a scratch across it. The good news, it can be easily replaced. Took the dealer an hour to replace it. So if you have a scratch you have ability to replace it.

It seems to me that the glare is caused by the fact that the hood (for lack of a better word) over the instrument cluster is too short. I tried holding my hands at the edge of the hood, with finger tips touching (much like cupping your hands over the bill of a baseball hat to cut glare) and the glare goes away.
