Where's the TPMS Reset Button?
I've owned fairly recent Toyota models like 03 4runner, 04 Sienna, and 11 Sienna, and all have a TPMS reset after you adjust air pressure. I looked all over yesterday and in the manual but didn't see any mention of it. I'm certain the 2nd Set button below steering column is only to switch to a second set of wheels. Ideas?

If you had to add air, the TPMS will recognize that automatically.
The tech stream device is needed when you change out a sensor, like when one goes bad.

So as long as you're in a predetermined range the system will recognize that, and won't trigger the inflation symbol? Ok, that's new to me then.
I do have another noob question then. So when I replace tires at Costco, do I have to go back to the dealer for their stream device if no sensors were replaced? Thanks so much folks.

What? lol. It's a "2ND STRT" button, and it's for transmission to start in 2nd gear instead of 1st. To reduce wheel spin in snow/ice. Check inside your glove box for the reset button

2004 gx470 has the tpms tire switch under lip of drivers side dash [ allow for 2 nd set of tires to be programed ] The second start switch is a rocker switch on the dash in same general area but higher and easier to get to.

Here's a pic of the button I was referring to, NOT the 2nd Start button. There's no button in the Gbox. Lol!

I just said to check glove box. I've owned a few cars that had the reset button placed there. My GX is an 03 so it doesn't have TPMS, so I was just saying to check it.

that is the tpms and a second tire set switch.
if pressed and held with car on the tire light will flash 3 times then go off. make sure its set to main. if it is set to 2nd the tire light will not go off. this model can store 2 sets of tpms sensor. one for regular tires and one for a winter set. this option was only for a couple of years though. cause no one ever bought an new set winter tires with the sensors and wanted to pay for the extra cost of programming the second set of sensors. double check the full size spare and make sure its properly inflated. people miss that all the time.

Oh ok
Korn- Thanks, I appreciate your informative feedback. Funny the manual made no mention of this, but again I'm not surprised. Agreed with you regarding the spare. I make a habit to check all my spares at oil changes.
