Stock air compressor
The air compressor for the rear shocks, is there a way to break into this and add a T so you can still have air suspension, but also fill tires?

I'd be curious what the max pressure of the system is. I wouldn't think the bags would take much. I would also think it would take a long time to air a tire. Maybe good to top off though.

But, if you could plumb the system to a 3 gallon air tank, you would have a constant capacity. 3 gal would be enough for a tire or two, depending on how low you aired down to.

Don't let my low number of posts on this forum fool you. I have been active in LandCruiser communities for nearly 12 years, I've done more DIY maintenance than most on these types of trucks. I joined here for specific information relating to the GX, which is in short supply over on MUD.
If your comment isn't sarcastic, please link the information, because I would ACTUALLY use a air tank system for something other than blowing the dust off my prada shoes.

What, you don't have someone to do that for you?

Since the truck auto fills up the airbags in correllation to the ride sensors, how would you wire it so you can turn the compressor on and off for just the tires, and also when filling up the tires, how would you not let air into the airbags at the same time? I think to use the compressor, you would have to disable the air ride suspension

I'm not sure how to answer part one of your question, which is why I was hoping someone else had already figured this out.
As for part 2: If you were using an air tank (3-5 gallon) as a holding tank, that would solve the issue I would think.
It wouldn't be cheaper, but might be easier to just use the ARB air compressor or other similar 12v compressor and small tank system.

The GX compressor is an expensive part. Personally, I wouldn't experiment with it unless maybe you are going to convert to coil springs in the rear. In that case have some fun!
I bought a Smitty Built compressor and have been very happy with it. Airs big tires just fine.
