It's confirmed that the GX's will arrive at all dealerships on Dec 4, 5 , or 6th. Our ship has already docked into Portland and they are on a truck even as I type this. Every dealer gets ONE car on the first day, then they will start to roll in more quickly after that.

I'm not too sure about the east coast on that one. You'll have to contact your local dealership to find out. Unless there are any Lexus dealers representing the east coast on here? I'd thought there was........anyone?

I test drove that one this morning
and immediately got on the list.
What a sweet ride. Quiet as a funeral.
Debbie Starks at Nalley-Roswell told me that it
was booked with test rides all day long.
This list could be doubled in size by the end of the day.

I test drove the GX this afternoon at Magnussen Lexus, Fremont. The car is as solid as a rock, quiet and rides most comfortably. It has some nice features such as two grab handles placed on the windshield post and over the window, on the driver's side. The passenger side mirror turns down when the transmission is in reverse to aid in parking. The acceleration is more than adequate for a heavy vehicle. No HIDs. I know the salesman was hoping to have me plunk down a deposit, but, that back door just rubs me wrong. The salesman was surprised when I told him about the inconvenience of loading at curbside, with a door opening to the wrong side. Of course, we all know that, plus the possibility of not being able to fully open the door with a car parked behind the GX. It would be nice if the Levinson could be ordered without the Nav, but they're a bundled option.

I test drove a fully loaded GX - 470. Great car & quiet, but went next door to BMW and test drove X-5, truthfully, felt the X-5 was more roomy, (width of cab) firmer in ride, peppier off the line. I am now confused as to which car to buy? Any suggestions?
