Twins! Mine too is an '04 who just turned 127k and my B1S1 O2 went back in Sept.

Mileage at the time was ~ 111k - used the Bosch b/c Denso would've taken 2-3 days to get in via parts store.

O2s are usually good for 100k so I got +11% on one and the others I'm +27% and rolling

Good luck

That is funny, and really exactly when mine went out.

I don't suppose you still have the link of the new sensor you bought?

And on a separate note: has any one here had a GX with a speedo problem? I am in desperate need of some advice here I'm just seeing high bills and my inspection is due in June and I don't have the money to fix it HELP

Sorry, I do not. It was a Bosch O2 at AdvanceAuto... they recommended b/c the Denso was only available for order and 3-4 days out. Think it might have been ~ $100 but I used one of their readily available 20% off coupons. As mentioned previously, stick w/ only Denso or Bosch.

After you have installed the new sensor....do the lights go off and the code is erased and re-set or do you still have to do that manually?

Thank you for this write up. I followed these steps to fix my P0051 code. The special wrench is a must. I bought one from Auto Zone and returned it for a full refund.
My check engine light went off the following morning, one day after replacing the sensor.

What year is yours? I’m looking at my 07 and wondering if I can even get to it myself.

I'm in my garage right now trying to figure this out on my '06 with 110k to cure a P0031 code (driver side).

Unfortunately it appears the sensor on that side may have already been replaced. If that's the case, I fear I may be looking at exhaust manifold replacement because I can hear it leaking.

I got the driver side sensor replaced. Figuring out how to undo the clip took a ridiculously long time - as did figuring out how to get my hands actually in there to do it - but it I wanted to test the sensor first. This appears to have resolved the CEL after clearing and checking codes. 🤞

Now that I've had something to eat, and cooled off both figuratively and literally, it's on to the passenger side (preventive while I'm here).

As for the clip, I had success getting a finger on the back of the release on the harness, while wedging it against the block for leverage.
