Stiles...check out the Firestone Coil Rite, no mods to the OEM or any replacement required, just this stuff goes around the coil, And you never get to suffer anymore bottoming.http://www.firestoneindustrial.com/riderite/

The Platform for GX has the similar setup to the 4Runner( without Air Susp ) and LX470. & Land Cruisers. The Kit is 4124 which will fit GX. They do have Air Kits to accomdate them.

I just purchased a 2007 GX in November that had 90k on it. Both rear shocks were replaced at 70k and the dealer replaced the front R shock as part of the 'make ready' for the sale. So, I figured I would spring for the last one (up front on the Left side) and make it new all around. The ride is great! The dealer did tell me that I did not need to replace that last front shock since it wasn't leaking but since I was able to get it done at dealer cost (part of the agreement when I bought the truck) I figured, why not. I had the timing belt and water pump replaced as well and put a new set of tires on it too. Might as well start off on the right foot. Mike

Rear suspension makes awful noise frequently
Hello, first time commenting. I am in a unique situation. I am stationed overseas in the middle east with the government and I brought my 2007 GX470 with me. A couple of months ago the rear suspension air compressor started coming on more frequently. Really loud noise. Today I took it into a local mechanic shop and he thinks it is the shock absorber that needs to be replaced. I need to order any parts needed from the states. Has anyone else had to fix this and what did it take? Thanks for the help...
