Question - Is the 2006 "pre-wired" for XM installation (i.e., no need to install an external XM radio, can set it up all internally)? Has Lexus figured out the best place to put the antenna? I have been reading that Lexus used to place the antennas in awful locations (behind rear-view mirror) and the radios had poor reception - have they figured out proper placement?

any thoughts, advice would be appreciated.

you prefer that over the 3rd generation SL2xD2? Who did the installation (dealer vs. self vs. aftermarket installation business? where is your antenna?

i installed it. it was very easy to do. antenna is on the rear of the roof near the rear spoiler and barely noticable.
