I'd go with Toyota OEM's filter part number 90915-20004. This is the best of the best...

Has anybody used DENSO Oil Filters, they claim they are the manufacturers for the Toyota / Lexus and they are OEM ones marketed under brand name TOYOTA

Keep in mind that there's often a difference in OEM (original equipment manufacture) and OES (original equipment service). Both will be packaged in Toyota logo boxes, marketed as Genuine Toyota Parts, etc, but OES are often different parts (and different suppliers) for consumables like oil/air filters, brake pads, wiper blades, etc. than what was originally used at the factory on the new vehicle. OES parts ARE tested and approved by Toyota, so there's nothing shady going on or anything, and I certainly do not mean to imply that there is. The "Toyota" parts you buy at the U.S. dealerships may be one or the other, and the fact that they are in Toyota boxes doesn't by itself indicate whether they are the exact same OEM parts or not. In the case of oil filters, it'd probably be pretty safe to assume that if it's made in Japan, it's the actual OEM. FWIW, as I've mentioned, I'm practically certain that Purolator makes the Toyota OES filter (and it's a good one).

I have just arrived from the dealership, Guess what 90915-20004 does say on the bill, when purchased, the box part number say different, On question the dealer , he say the part is superseded with a new number "90915-YZZD3". The Part system has not been updated. WoW ! did you'll hear that. One more ace up the sleeve, stuff is made in Thailand. I am trying to upload the image for you guys. He also mentioned you may find the old stock ( Japanese) one for few more months.

I just got a call from the dealer, they goofed up on the part number...and want me to return the Oil Filter. They apologised profusely to it, and mentioned of having it to deliver to my home the original part number (90915-20004). Lets hope its is from the Land of the Samurai's.

That -20004 filter is highly regarded by some in the Supra community and they still source them. I've seen dealers advertizing that they have them in stock, so you might do a search on supraforums.com (or e-bay) and find them. Toyota U.S. started using the YZZD3 filter instead a couple years ago.

EDIT: Just now clicked the link above -- someone already linked to them -- no need to go searching (if you're good with a $15+ oil filter).
