Is the engine in the GX460 the same motor as...

the engine in the LS460, just without the direct injection? Can't find a lot of info about it.

That's my general understanding. The bottom ends are the same, but the top end of the LS460 has direct injection. There may be other, minor differences but the direct injection is the primary difference.
