New Sylvania zxe Silver stars
has anyone tried the new Sylvania Silver stars with xenon? Although they are as expensive as the regular Silver stars, I wonder if they are brighter. I was thinking about purchasing the LED light bulbs from v-led.com, but it seems that those light bulbs are for aesthetics only, so they don't serve for any purpose other than looking nice. These bulbs will be replacing the luminics I purchased a year ago. These bulbs lasted as long as the regular Silver stars. I can't find halogen bulbs that look as white as the HID lights, and last longer than one year.

I have the v-led in the fogs and I'm very happy with them. They have just as much light as the OEM bulbs but are pure white (5K) and should last a very long time. The quartz bulbs are just not worth the money and don't last.

Do they illuminate the road as much as the halogen bulbs do? I can tell when my fog lights are on and can see the difference in bad weather. Do the v-LEDs produce the same amount of illumination?Which LED's do you have? The 5K or 6K?

I found the v-leds to work as good/effective as the factory bulbs. I only use 5K kelvin as they are pure white, anything higher will have a blue tint. See the Kelvin scale.
