iPhone 4 question
Has anyone connected their iPhone 4 on their GX 460 ??
My grandson was able to connect and play the songs from his iPhone 3, however when we connect his new iPhone 4, the screen is grayed out.

When i paired my iphone 4 it works fine but the next time i get in the car it is not connecting. I called Apple and they are sending me a new phone. Hopefully this will work. Anyone else have this issue with their iPhone 4 and 2010 GX 460?

I bet they don't send you a new phone, it will be a reman. Apple did the same thing to me when my phone was new. I'm on my 4th I phone in one year. I don't think the reman phones are as good as new. I have the 3Gs with the 4.0.1 software. Buy the Apple Care protection plan. It's worth the money...

Beware: IPHONE 4 doesn't work with 2008 LS600hl
I bought an IPHONE 4 for my wife for Christmas (Dec 23, 2010). While the phone is very nice in many areas, the Blue Tooth connection with my Lexus is NOT one of those areas. The phone has no problem pairing with the Lexus and the initially connects. HOWEVER, once you leave the car and return the phone no longer connects automatically. You must power the phone off and back on for the connection to re-establish. This is totally unacceptable.
I should point out that the Nokia and SonyEricsson phones we have connect every single time.
Apple says "there have been some connection problems" but hasn't admitted there's a full blown problem. Check the web and you'll find many people complaining about BT connection problems with many different car manufacturers.

My iPhone experiences
The day I test drove my 2011 GX460, I plugged int my iPhone 3G to the USB port and was disappointed to in the scratchy sound quality. Something was really wrong. A girl from the dealership plugged in her Nano and it worked fine. I think plugged in my wife's iPhone 4 and it worked just fine. My iPhone 3G worked fine over Bluetooth, but then I don't have any menus to work with on the Navi screen. Fortunately I updated my IOS from 4.1 to 4.2 on my 3G and now it works fine. So far we have not had any problems either phone since.

My iphone 4 is connected perfectly, great sound very clear and loud, and all my music plays too, however I use my ipod for music and iphone for calls. No problem whasoever, all contacts transferred and as matter of fact the range is so good that sometimes I leave my phone in the house and get in the car on my driveway and it connects with no problem.

My iphone4 connects perfectly via Bluetooth with my 2011 RX with Navi. The phone works well, contacts download and the iPod function works well via Bluetooth or USB. However when I do connect the USB I do get a message on the phone that says my phone reception may be weaker and I may experience static. I have not experienced that.
