Hi guys, great community you have there i just discovered the website and it's amazing the amount of info i've been able to found.

My dad owns a 2004 GX 470 Lexus, the A/C was not working so he sent the car to repair and everything was great until he found out the people who repaired the A/C couldn't figure out where to put back some cable so they just decided to left it out (unbelievable) and well... we want to know what is it for.
On top of that, the radio signal was affected drastically... it barely gets any FM signal so we believe the cable has something to do with the antenna but we really have no idea.

i would guess that the **** is an aftermarket control for a subwoofer.

Thats my guess, as well.

Ya, looks like an aftermarket sub control. As far as the FM reception, they probably left the antenna feed cable disconnected.
