VSC Trac VSC Off lights on
I recently had a trailer hitch installed and the mechanic left the parking brake on unbeknownst to me as I drove off. After driving about a half mile I heard a clunking from the rear as if something was loose and banging around. I pulled over to check and smelled something was burning. I got back in the car and was about to drive back to the mechanic when I then noticed the parking brake was on. Turned it off and everything was fine.
Later same day I noticed the VSC lights had come on. I tried disconnecting the battery to reset and it was off until I moved the car a few feet.
My question is, would driving a short distance with the parking brake on cause the VSC light to stay on and, what can I do to resolve the issue?

I have actually had this happen a few times in the last few years. Its usually when I throw the truck quickly into reverse. Then the truck rides a little strange and the lights come on. After a few minutes and turning the truck off and on a few times it goes away. I literally haven't had the problem in a year though.
