I purchased a 2006 Lexus GX 470 yesterday from a dealer locally. I searched the web and this site and haven't found much information for my questions so here it goes:

I have the in dash navigation with Mark Levinson Sound. Is there any possible way to install an aftermarket dual din navigation system? If it is less than $2k for a kit or something I would be game...

If not...is there a way to get new features, upgraded maps, etc. I was reading of the Vais but not sure what that is fully.

Regarding doing a Navi swap It won't be cheap since the AC runs through your Navi, so you'll need to buy the non-Navi AC panel. The wiring probably won't be the same. I was thinking about swapping my Navi out but I gave up.

Regarding the Navi maps you can buy an updated Map DVD from Sewell Lexus. Register on their site and they will give you a ClubLexus discount.
