Default Side-view Mirror Tilt Problems?

Has anyone experiences issues with the tilting feature on the side-view mirrors? On occasion, mine doesn't seem to return to where it was set. I''ve reset and programmed it many time but still get the same results. The mirror was replaced once by the dealer, work for a few months and now the problem is back. Also, I've noticed that the drivers side mirror is barely tilting - indicating a problem on that side now too. Anyone else experiencing issues with this feature? Thx!

Default side mirrors

no problems with mine...2 things I can think of : 1) make sure your mirror selector switch is set properly to allow for tilting, and 2) it si possible that during a car wash the mirrors were pushed "out of alignment" and that they need to be re-centered with the power control mechanism. To do this use the power mirror adjustment "keypad" to "cycle" thru the full range of motion of the mirrors...for example if you press up until it maxes out and the mirror is not tilted up - GENTLY adjust the mirror manually to full up...then when you hit the keypad to full down you should be at full down with no further adjustment necessary...Do this for the left right adjust also...you will ONLY need to manually adjust in one direction vertically and one direction horizontally.

I've noticed the exact same thing on my 2005. It hasn't bothered me to the point where I'll take it to the dealer (it is on my list for my next service). I thought I might have dust or something in the mirror, so I did the full-range motion thing. Didn't help. It only does this once and a while, so it is odd.

My driver's side doesn't go down as far as the passenger side, but I think that is normal. I just wish they'd all return to the same spot. I find myself putting it into park and hitting the memory button a lot.
