Good Deal?
Hi everyone!
About to sign on the dotted line for a silver/dark gray interior 2005 GX with nav. for $47,200 ($51,040 out the door + $2350 for extended warranty = 6 yrs/100,000 miles). Just wanted to get all your opinion on the price. This was the lowest price I could find around here.
Thanks

Go to either http://www.kbb.com or http://www.edmunds.com and figure out how much you payed over dealer invoice. If it isn't a car with the Sports Package and you payed anything above $2000-$3000 over dealer invoice you payed too much. The Sports models are harder to come by and the dealers are able to hold closer to MSRP on these cars. I got my '05 Sports model for close to $2000 below MSRP. I could have done better with a non-Sports model, but I really liked the black maple and the KDSS.

Shaggy, that seems just about right. Don't know who else is getting better deals?
What other options are you getting...besides the typical nav/ml with 3rd row. Spoiler.......?
Depending on location, I think it's just a matter of fast the dealer can move the GX.
I got a quote for $47, 700 ($2000 over invoice) with nav/ml/3rd row/spoiler/exhaust tip/tow hitch. I'm leasing the GX anyways so I don't the extended warranty

Considered this a pretty sweet deal:
MSRP: $45,775.00
Nav: $3,050.00
3rd Row: $2,030.00
Hitch: $50.00
Rear Spoiler: $551.00
Preferred Accessory Pkg: $232.00
Destination: $650.00
Total $52,338.00
Got it for $50,700 out the door.

Extended warrant seems high
Your extended warranty seems a little pricey. I am in Toronto, and was quoted CDN$1875 for that. Did not do any negotiation on the price, but since this was the initial quote, I believe I would be able to get it for a lower amount.

Buy the truck cause the price seems right but pass on the warranty, check cause Im not sure but I think you have the 1st year to purchase the warranty, call local Toyota dealers and buy the warranty through them, same thing but should be half price, check into that, you could even email or call several dealers over the weekend and get the warranty for half price, and you said 6/100 my toyota dealer gave me 7/100 unless they changed that, you do know the lexus already has a 4/48 bumper to bumper and 7/70 powertrain, so that 6/100 looks weird.
