Yes, it was a full tank when I bought the car. Not sure what kind of gas they put on. I heard that low quality gasoline could effect the mpg correct?

Default pretty decent mileage

I have had my '08 GS 350 for about 10k now and get about 26 mpg with split driving, highway/city. If I am on a long trip using 80% plus highway I get closer to 30 mpg. Best ever was a drive to the beach with the car loaded up with family and a full trunk: 31 mpg after 3.5 hours of highway driving at average speeds of 70 to 80 mph. That's not bad for a V6.

no.
the engine adjusts, as long as you don't overcompensate with your right foot.

No. I didn't at all. Been driving for over 400 miles now and mpg in city shows 18.5
Is there something that We have to do with the transmission?

i drove 95% local and my mpg is 17.xx mpg on a good day. on a crazy day, i got 15.xx mpg.

i have intake, mid-pipe & exhaust, and using manual eshift most of the time. i just love that deep growl sounds, dont care much about mpg.

I heard that we can use some products from local auto part stores to clean the injection so that improves the mpg a bit. Is it true?

Managed to smash this on the way to Vegas for my wife's birthday to see Steve Aoki & Tiesto at Hakassan! LOL. Figured to capture one for you guys to show MPG cruise set to 77 mph (pictured) for a GS430, first 100 miles though I set 27.5 when cruise was set at 68...(not picutured) What's cool is that by the time I got to my destination there, I WAS LEFT WITH HALF A TANK STILL!!! I was telling my wife I was mind-fawked seeing this for a V8. I drove my dads 2014 Avalon for kicks and within the same trip left me with a 1/4th left of gas so it's a huge diff for me and 3GS FTW. Another pics attached of myself on Left with my wife and my other two friends jacked up with Monster & Sky Vodka! WOOHOO!!!

no. I'm just going by the EPA numbers. If your number is based on all city driving, it's normal.

now you just need to test highway.

I don't think any additive will boost your mpg.

Also, you're probably running winter blend gas right now, so mpg will suffer a little.
