Spent the $1k and the transmission still has issues so it looks like it was all for nothing. Not sure where to go from here. I've been quoted used transmissions for $2.5k but I'm not sure of the quality of the work or the used transmission they'll put in. Can't believe how much trouble it's been and how much money and time it's taken and will take.

He said it shifts fine in manual mode. That leads me to think the solenoids are fine. A bad solenoid would cause trouble in either mode, wouldn't it?
