Default Malfunctioning door actuator.

Well I noticed the drivers door actuator wasn't working. I went to the Lexus dealer and service rep told me 700 bucks to fix. A month later i went to fix my cat converter under warranty. After i got the car back, surprisingly the keyless door works again. Well a week later it stops working again. +( What gives??

these are easy to rebuild with a $5 motor you can get off ebay. Tons of threads on the DIY on the CL site.

I've been searching for the DIY threads on this but can't find any for a 3GS. Can someone please post one up? Thanks.
