Default *AUDIO INSTALLERS* Looking to replace your STOCK amplifier??? NO NEED TO CUT WIRES!

I was amazed when I saw this.... Now I feel stupid for not waiting for the harness' release. But here it is.... I'm not sure if this has been around for a while, but I figured I'd post it anyways, since I keep preaching that we need to cut our harnesses rather than have a PnP sling harness.

I'm not telling anyone to buy direct from here, so don't yell at me about there being CHEAPER alternatives to this harness:

http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_...3B-S3TA03.html

*ONLY COMPATIBLE WITH NON-ML SYSTEMS*

Here is more info:

http://www.scosche.com/car-audio/dow...structions.pdf

Fair warning: Until someone can further confirm, my words from this first post does not guarantee anything on your part, please call/email scosche for further details on what the purpose of this harness is!

From the looks of it, it looks like an interface for your radio so that you get aftermarket support for other parts!

This is "supposed" to be combined with the S3-SR1 kit.

The kit's details are here:

http://www.scosche.com/car-audio/s3-...ment-interface

GL folks! LMK whether this is for full aftermarket radios or just plain ole aftermarket support for amplified systems! I wanna know too!

Don't we have Pioneer amplifiers?
Even the ML amp is made by Pioneer, I believe.

I'm sure it is, Pioneer is stamped on my amp also.

I think they say JBL because Toyota uses JBL. Then again, I've read on this forum, that there's 3 types of audio for our cars. Basic audio, Premium audio, and ML system. (I've no clue if this is true or not lol...... because I have the pioneer just like you)

lmaooo SLOW4DR, assume it's the same bro, assume it's the same

Audio-wise, car models are somewhat pretty generic compared to engine/transmission/suspension build for example .

Sort of like the Headlights or Foglights for the 06-07 GS'. They're the same for the 300,430,350,450h, but yet after 07 it's completely diff (the fogs anyways).

Anywho, GL to all

That's what it is Mike? It HAS RCA outputs, so I'm guessing the outputs come from that to an external amp, bypassing the factory amplifier.... It wouldn't be a bad idea to do a small form factor amplifier (~100-150w RMS/ch) for the system. all in the factory location lol.

I used a Rockford Fosgate Three Sixty.2 ....it's the way to go... built in cross-over, line leveler, built in 21 band eq per speaker, and PDA adjustable.

Just read the PDF. Looks like this unit is to connect an aftermarket headunit with the factory amp so you can retain your steering wheel controls and what not.
