Default GS 350 Engine Block Heater

I was wondering if any of you guys have installed an engine block heater on your engines. Also, has anybody tried one or more of the following; Magnetic heater, Oil Dipstick Heater, Space Heater and whatever else anybody has done.

How does our vehicle perform as far as starting and driving in extreme cold temperatures, do you heat the transmission pan, rear diff?

Any sort of cold weather input would be great.

Thank you.

How cold does it really get in WA? Most you need to worry about is your battery really.... Radiator fluid, if properly mixed, shouldn't freeze over in your engine and u should be fine

They make magnetic warmers that stick on the oil pan or even dip sticks both are temporary

Unless your in sub zero weather I dont see a need for it! Unlike diesel trucks they have to use it or they do not start.

I frequent Montana,North Dakota and Minnesota a lot during the winter and this time I'm driving my GS350.

It has already gotten to -18 ambient a couple times in these areas. It's not odd to get down to -30 ambient. With wind chill it gets to -60 quite often in the Montana, North Dakota plains.
