my extended warranty from the valve recall expired 5/22/13 on the 07 GS350 and I went to change brake pads this weekend and got all the way around the car to the driver rear where the caliper was frozen. The research on here I did shows a TSB which I may attempt to get a goodwill repair done, but not counting on it. It sounds like I need to heat the pin up for about 2 minutes and try to loosen it. Then sand it and lube it and everything should be fine. Is this the consensus?

Made a quick little simple diagram to make it easier.



First step take off the caliper and bracket off the car.

With a propane torch, heat the YELLOW A's for 1-2 min you will want to gradually put heat to aluminum. Making sure to stay away from the rubber dust shield. Once you have started to preheat, then heat YELLOW B for about 2-3 min let the torch just sit and heat the tip

Once finished with heating lay the caliper on the BLUE side and grab a hammer. You'll want to strike RED C with your hammer, strike it with medium force and if the pin doesn't budge add more force after every swing until it budges. You may also want to hold the caliper with your other hand with a pair of gloves or a rag just so you do not burn yourself.

When the pin finally budges, its going to probably take some more hammering to fully free it. So flip the caliper to the GREEN side and you'll want to strike at RED D. Tap on D until the pin and bracket are fully free from the caliper itself.

Now inspect the pin, most likely will have built up crud over the years. Take a steel wool or fine sand paper and clean the pin until it is shiny smooth. Do the same with the inside of the pin on the caliper side. Then put liberal amount of grease on both pin and caliper side shaft. You want to make sure the pin floats smoothly in and out of the caliper shaft.

Now you can remount the caliper, make sure to bleed the caliper you removed from the vehicle.

Should have just take it to the dealership...My rear left seized up and brought the car to Newport Beach Lexus and they took care with brand new caliper...I had 70k+ miles by then and already out of warranty.
