2010 GS 350 AWD - any recall items?
I am looking at buying a 2010 AWD with 18K miles.
Was wondering if there are any recall issues with the 2010 model?
Thanks.

I bought a 2010 GS 350 RWD just about a month and a half ago - 20k miles, was listed as CPO but I had them remove it from CPO warranty since I can extend the original factory warranty to 8yr/100k from the in-service date (2.5 years ago) and it ends up being quite a bit cheaper than the CPO warranty & CPO extension..
I saw several people on this forum list this site: https://www.clublexus.com/forums/all...engineid=3931/ as a way to track recalls and technical service bulletins for your particular vehicle - I found it pretty helpful.
The only thing I want to have fixed on mine is the break squeal, I took it to a local dealer (since I bought it ~100 miles away from home) - and they blamed the squeal on moisture - but it squeals about 90% of the time when braking, so it would seem to me that it is a bit more serious than that...
For cheap factory warranty extensions, check out http://fd-warranty.com/ , they are legit.
Also, I checked out the service history for my particular vehicle before buying it @ http://drivers.lexus.com/lexusdrivers/home, it gave me confidence that my car was serviced in regular intervals, and hopefully will tell you if anything 'weird' has happened to your car.

drydeniv,
Thanks for your response & info.
How did you get the original factory warranty (was it 50K mi / 5 yrs?) extended to 8 yr / 100k mi?
Is this done thru Lexus? Cost?

The extension to the factory warranty must be bought through a Lexus dealer, or at least a person who deals with the Lexus factory warranties - at least that is my understanding.
So, that's why I recommend the http://fd-warranty.com/ website - they sell genuine factory warranties for much less than the dealer (since they sell at volume, I think) - I was quoted US $2075 for the 8yr/100k extension on my 2010 3GS 350.
The car I bought had an in-service date that was only 2.5 years ago - it has a remaining 1.5 years on the original 4 yr/ 50k factory warranty. I haven't yet bought the extension, but I fully intend to within the next year or so (as long as you do it before the car reaches the end of its 4yr/50k original warranty.
