caliper change - VSC/ECB question
Got another sticking caliper on my 2006 GS300, lexus aren't listening anymore to my woes so I'm on my own. Fine!
I'm going to remove the caliper, change the seals and fit a new caliper piston myself. It's easy enough.
However, the part I'm not too sure about is brake bleeding with a VSC car. The Tech service manual gives different ways for ECB and VSC. ECB requires an intelligent tester and removing relays, VSC shows the old fashioned pedal pump and bleed method. My small mind tells my that I have both, VSC (as I have a button) and ABS as well.... it's new.
So which is right for my car? The easy way or the tester/relay way.
Thanks for any assist.
