2006 GS 300- Doors locked, 3 windows down
I've owned my 2006 GS 300 since 6/2008 and I've never had this experience before. I parked my car last Friday, got out, and locked the doors using the black button on the driver's door. I kept the key in my purse. I came back outside 45 minutes later and I saw my front passenger's side window down. My heart sank because I thought it was broken into. I ran up to my car and I noticed both windows on the driver's side were also down. Thankfully it was a nice day and I had nothing of value in the car. The doors were still locked and the rear passenger side window was still up. I got in the car and drove away. Once I got to my next destination. I opened the manual and read about the windows. It mentioned that the key can be used to open the windows and sunroof if it is inserted in the door, but that this feature must be activated by the dealer. I checked the sunroof just to make sure it wasn't opened. Also, I was surprised that the fourth window didn't go down. I tried to put it down using my controls from the driver's seat and it wouldn't work. I had this problem before and I was able to fix it by putting the window down using the control on that window's door and then using the driver's control to bring it back up. I decided to leave it for the dealer to check out.
I then called my Lexus dealer to ask them about the issue. They told me to bring the car in. I'm going in Tuesday morning. I'm just wondering if this has happened to anyone else.

Really old thread but yeah, this happened to me tonight. I was really confused because I was under the impression the whole time I've owned the car that you could only open the moonroof and windows like this using the physical key and I thought I even tried opening them using the unlock button on the fob after I got it and it didn't work.
Sure enough when I tried to make it happen using the fob, it rolled the front windows down half way and the moonroof part way. If I held it down again, it opened them fully. That made me feel better, as the thought of the car unlocking itself and opening everything randomly wasn't a good one.
I had the fob in my pocket visiting somebody and I must have been sitting on the fob funny for a long enough period of time.
