Interesting, I thought the 430 was not included in the recall?

Default GS valve springs replacement recall

Share the aftermath of putting your car through the valve recall service: Mine is experiencing higher engine vibration that wasn't there before!

My new car smell is back completely now. The car feels completely like it did prior to having it's power plant exposed. Kudo's to Lexus Corp for voluntarily recalling, as it usually does......kudo's for the dealership for performing a trouble-free procedure. This is one of the reasons I stick with Lexus. Many companies make it very difficult when you ask them to stand behind their product. With few exceptions, Lexus has been there to support their product.

I remember when I got the first 3GS. I thought the carpet was inferior. As an experienced Lexus owner I was surprised how thin it was. Bristles came out after a vacuum and I took it in. I asked them to change out the front carpet so that both driver and passenger sides matched. They changed the entire car.

That's what's up!

WTF? I had mine done and did not get any free gas!!! Though the reciept said something about gasoline, loaner car and wash (even though it was raining at the time)... is my dealer charging Lexus for gas and just not giving me any??

Default I wish I would of know what the recalled would do to my car!

I just had my Lexus Gs 300 get the values spring recall done. I wish I had not had it done!!! it took two weeks and I got a new 2013 Gs to drive and I liked that part, But when I had to go get something out of my car I was taken back to a car with no front end. I could not believe they would take the suspension out alone the entire engine electrical harness. I was told they have done a lot of these and not to worry. That you have to take everything off the car to fix it. So I get the car back, they did not put the gas back into the tank so i had to fill up the tank again. anther wast of money!! 3 days later a power failure happens at 1am on the freeway coming back from the air port, seems there is a short somewhere in the electrical system. they clam it is the battery that blew out the fuse box and related harness and created a bunch of shorts in the system. They clam the value spring replacement would not effect this because they are vary careful when the reinstalled the failed harness and rewired the entire car. I have placed a request for Lexus to send in an expert. Lexus of Escondido took a car that had never had any issues other then a rough idle now and then and turned it into pile of melting wires and they want to stick me with the bill!! I'm warring everyone that gets this recall not to take it to Lexus of Escondido and if you do get the recall you might just want to pass and deal with a rough idle now and then. it is not worth the money or pain. I can not believe some of you got free brakes, spark plugs and even a full tank of gas. I guess it is time for me to look for anther dealer or sell both my Lexus and go back to Mercedes.

Well I wanted to update on my post: my car is still having Electrical failures and the dealer tells me it will take to much time to find and fix the short in the system that is blowing out the Fusible Link. That is a $395 a pop fix. I have called Lexus Corporate to see if they can fix it so I can dump it.

Since I got my valve job done, my GS350 now burn gas like a large SUV.
