Just got my recall letter yesterday, and after reading and hearing some of the horror stories about engine smoking, rough idle, warning lights, dealer forgetting something or breaking something I wanted to see how many people out there have had the recall done and if it went smoothly or if you had issues. thanks for the feedback!!
2 month going strong still after the recall done. No major issue the tech who did my car were great. They had done ten other before mine. But it all about the tech when it comes down to it.
Mine was done about a month ago. Only issue I have is during shutoff. It's that rattling noise that I have seen around on here. But no rattle during start-up.
Done at Hennessy Lexus of Atlanta with ZERO issues, fixed in less than 24 hours along with the TSB for the start-up clank noise...helps to know people there
