I used Redline and have been doing so for 10+ years. I haven't had any issues with fuel injectors in any of our cars.

I use Chevron w/Techron twice year on my last three cars. Not really a controled study, but experience says it isn't hurting and I haven't had any fuel injector problems in any of the vehicles.

If your car has a direct fuel injection system, check with your local gas station about sulfur levels in their fuel.

Choose the fuel with the least sulfur content and your problem is solved. It isn't always about octane rating, it's the type of fuel delivery system you have and fuel content you use.

Does the stuff ever go bad? I bought a case of the Chevron fuel injector cleaner about 3 years ago and I still have three bottles left. Just curious.

If it's sealed and kept out of the sun the stuff probably lasts "forever".

First of all, I'm not sure why you want to use the cleaner in the first place. Today's gasoline all ready has additives to prevent deposits from forming on the injectors. Having said that, you should be concerned. The same chemicals used to remove deposits not only clean the injector they also eat away at the injector itself. The most common limit with these cleaning systems is three times then the injectors will need to be replaced. I suggest unless you are experiencing problems such as rough idle, hesitation or no power, don't add any of the additives currently on the market.
