It's better to use a quality FM transmitter. The Tape deck will basically cut off a huge part of the highs and lows...FM does as well, but not as much.

I've had nothing but bad experience with the FM transmitters in the past (interference issues). Plus doesn't it require a power connection? That's one nice thing about the tape adapter: all you have is a thin cable sticking out of the deck, and folds neatly into the place where ashtray used to be (I pulled it out).

Also, I'm not sure about your assumption regarding the tape deck range. It's been years, but I thought good tape decks had very good frequency range.

I've tried FM transmitters and tape adapters. Too much interference with FM transmitters and cassette adapters sound too flat. Even the best cassette adapters still sound flat. Only difference is less interference. And even the best FM transmitters will still get interference due to FCC regulations on how strong the signal can be.

I use a Vaistech SL2Vi now and it's now CD quality. Pandora works great streaming through an iPhone. If you're using a Blackberry, you will have to get a universal aux input adapter. Only drawback with the universal option is that you will not have steering wheel or on screen controls.

Nope, just download "Pandora" from the AppStore. It's a free app.

I have perfect FM reception from the FM transmitter on my Nokia N78. It even displays "Nokia" on the RDS display, so its easy to find. Even the cheap $2 ones are still pretty good (I have one that only has 3 built in channels, and its almost as good, but better than cassette). I guess its location dependent, but cassette quality doesn't even come close when I tested it.

just installed the dice mediabridge 1500.....pandora now in 07 GS 350 via bluetooth....steering wheel controls work even bluetooth to the phone which is a droid.

this product might display song titles but the droid doesn't send via bluetooth, so I'm not sure..perhaps an iphone would show song titles.

sound is perfect........and I sold car audio for 6 years, it's legit.

Default Monster Tape Adapter

so far, this works fine for me. I bought it for $25 at Best Buy instead of the cheap ones everyone is talking about. Now I haven't heard the difference compared to the ISimple or Vaistech, but for the price I am satisfied (for now). I will look into the Isimple since I heard it was at 1 time $99 @ Walmart.com?

I think I bought the last one bro. It's out of stock. Amazon or ebay would be your next best source. They have complete module if you want to hook up Sirius as well. I'm returning my iSimple.

I plug the audio jack into my phone (Droid) and then into the Aux jack in the armrest compartment and run Pandora through car radio. Sound is great.

I have an 08. In the armrest compartment I have a 12V socket and Aux jack. I also Plug my iPod into it, select Aux on the radio and all is good.

I'm searching for one that can do Stereo sound. I don't get why the tape can do stereo but the adapter can't.
