Swap 2010-2012 radio into 2009 for Bluetooth
Hello Lexus community! I've got a 2009 ES350 Non-Nav, which I love, but it only has bluetooth for calls. I have an iPhone X so I have to use a dongle to play music and I can't charge my phone at the same time. I have a cell phone mount that has wireless charging built it, but it charges really slow. I was looking on craigslist and I found a totaled 2012 ES350 Non-nav, equipped just like mine that has bluetooth music streaming. What I would like to know is, can I take the 2012 radio and just replace mine with it and gain bluetooth functionality? As I stated before, mine is equipped with bluetooth for calls, so its already wired up for microphones, etc. Anybody have any experience with this? I would like to keep the stock look for the radio.
