DVD-A for the ML
So I went to 5 different stores, and best buy of all places was the ONLY store to even have DVD-A, and at that they only had about 10 titles, non of which I would consider buying.
Anyone know where, possibly online I can go to purchase?
What's the point of the better quality of a DVD-A for my ML system if I can't even buy any.
I'm looking for newer bands, not just online where all that I can find is the Eagles from 1995, or stuff like that.
Thanks

Some of your higher end stereo stores will carry them, there are a couple here in STL that I have found.
Your best bet is Amazon and searching in the music section for "DVD Audio". It's mainly classical with a couple of 2-3 year old pop albums and some REM. You can also try Froogle doing the same search.
Keep in mind that regular DVD's also often have DTS 5.1 sound, and if you do the by pass you can play them fine.

I just purchased the Hell Freezes Over tour by the Eagles.
It is a DVD recorded in DTS 5.1 and competely sounds different
then regular stereo.
I am totally happy with the ML sound system now due to the
DTS.

yes, I agree. in the DVD-A format you dont have the compressed crap out there and it's a whole different ball game.
have fun!
HAVE SOME MORE ON ORDER, BUT CAN'T FIND A TON OUT THERE THAT I AM INTERESTED IN.

Just realize that the highest quality tracks on DVD-A discs only play in stereo in the GS. May as well stick to CDs if stereo is all you want. The only way to hear discrete 5.1 is from the DTS or Dolby Digital tracks in DVD-V formats.
