I need more TORQUE/HP off the line!!!
I love my '06 GS300 AWD because of her looks, feel, ride, technology and handling but it has no power off the line or in the first 3 gears. Is there a chip upgrade that can help with this or am I just SOL?

get a turbo. I've seen nice mods you can do for a few grand that'll solve your problem.
I've even thought what can I do with my GS450h. I think I am SOL becuase of the limited space b/c of the 4 engines this dang thing has, but you have options.

call them and get it if they say it works for a 2006, then let us know the results

Look into a supercharger. Owned a Regals GS with 240 hp and 280 ft lbs/torque. With FWD, the car would burn 60 ft of rubber from a start at 3/4 throttle.
Why manufacturers do not add superchargers for added muscle w/o sacrificing mpg is puzzling. I would much rather have a supercharged engine then turbocharged.

Looks like it's too late for that so why go there.
I'm happy with our GS300. The 245hp is enough to pass the slowpokes and then some. It's a big car and can never become a sports car. I know how much fun it is to drive a quick car though. If you're not concerned about warranty void issues, I agree with getting that supercharger. Then let us know how it rides so we can live vicariously through you.

how bout this.... find a way to safely add some horse and torqe to my 450h. I'm serious.
I have no room in the hood so I have no idea even if this is possible.
I didn't buy the car for the mpg, I did it for the CVT and the instant torqe so give me a suggestion and I might just roll with it.
Any ideas? Is it even possible?
