Edmunds is wrong about PCS though. It only comes in as a special order from what I heard (two dealerships)

Edmund Posts
All GS models will also include a full complement of front, side and knee airbags along with a Pre-Collision System (PCS) that prepares the car for an impending crash to reduce severity. The GS will also offer standard features like a keyless ignition, adaptive headlights and a rear backup camera integrated with the optional navigation system.

The best color that i have seen on this car is definitely flint mica when it is cleaned and glossed . You guys that havent seen it will be amazed. It outdoes the mercury metalic. I have seen both cars and the flint mica really brings out this car. Im still happy with my mercury mettalic 20th is the day!

Do they make a spoiler that looks like the 2nd Gen OEM spoiler?

because I really like the current OEM spoiler.

Hmmm....so does this thread go down as the longest thread on CL??

I dont think there is one color that Ive seen that I dislike. I will probably hate the brownish/tan colors. Those colors are extremely ugly on cars.

No, only the lip spoiler. I am sure the aftermarket will respond with a "wing" type spoiler.

I am with you guys, I like all the colors, which is a first....

Some thoughts.

We all knew the new GS was coming, and looking at the 142k views in this thread, love or hate, it came and made an impression. Its been over 1 year since we "refreshed" this thread that fateful January day waiting for pics and news on our beloved GS. In that time we have speculated and debated our opinions until the facts started trickling in.

Tremendous thanks to all the Clublexus members who took those cameras, went to their respective auto shows and shared the pics with us. And for those that didn't take pics, that came and shared their thoughts on the GS, thanks as well. Looking at all the other forums and new competing debuts, our members gave Clublexus the best and most current info and clearly, the best pictures. Thanks for all the hardwork in quenching that thirst for new info on the GS.

The 3rd Gen GS has its own forum now and threads are popping up like wildfire daily, so its time to let this 1 year old sticky go. But many of us won't forget this thread, as the one, where we saw our first glimpse of the 2006 GS!
