New to GS300, few issues
Hi, first I'd like to say hello to everyone, I am new to owning a GS300, or Lexus in general, but by no means am I new to cars.
I bought my GS300 today, but there's a few problems that I noticed.
First, when I have the heat or A/C on, it won't switch to anything except face. (Won't go to defog, feet, or any combination of the three).
Secondly, when I hit the lock/unlock button on my key, only the passenger doors lock or unlock, the driver's door is completely unaffected. I have to manually unlock and lock the door. Also, the car doesn't beep or make any noises when I lock/unlock.
Any ideas as to what this stuff could be?

The lock/unlock issue is mostly likely the door lock acutuators which is a common issue with the GS.

I have those bookmarked because I have to do both of these repairs on my GS in the future

I didn't bother to read the stickies because I have no idea what was wrong with the car to begin with...
But now that I know it's most likely the actuator and servo, I'll go ahead and read the sticky with DIY.

It happens lol..
Yeah that's what I read from a quick search, but the thing is, that mine doesn't make any noise. Just refuses to switch altogether.
Ohhh ok, so I can change the setting to make it beep or not beep? I'll look through the owner's manual that came in the glovebox.
