Default odd wheel ticking need help!!!!!!!!!!

Thanks for your time CL.

I have an odd metal on metal ticking noise coming from my rear wheel. The noise ONLY occurs when ACCELERATING from a dead stop, a in consistant tick maybe 3-4 times then goes away. I checked wheel bearing but has no play and replaced about 4 months ago. I tighten all suspension parts to make sure everything was tight..checked my brakes seems good..my only conclusion is my cv joint, but I want feedback before replacing. Thanks again. All help is appreciated!!

To put in perspective the clicking noise and ticking consistancy... Its like putting water on a cube of ice....

Lift the rear up with both wheel off the ground with jackstand. Put car in neutral and Spin the wheel that is making the clicking sound. Could be your wheel bearing.

I'm almost sure its coming from my rear wheel area. Its a metal to metal tick. Not relevant to my speed what so ever. I'm telling you, grab an ice from the freezer put water on it and it's exacly how it sounds...in consistant with speed

did you run over a nail? try rotating your tires to see if the sound stays in the same place?

sometimes check from the basic\easy stuff first!

Check your pins that hold the brake pads in place, there should be a small bracket in between the pads that put pressure on the pins. When that bracket is missing it makes a noise like the one your describing.

Thanks for the replies guys, yea checked all of that and still with the click...I replaced wheel bearing, brakes, upper control arm. I never had a cv joint go bad on me so I'm leaning towards that side. Any confirmation??...
