Default IS300 trans in a GS300???

whats up guys i was just wondering if a IS300 trans works in a GS300?
im just guessing that there the same. but i want to make sure.

Tail shaft is different. The IS300 uses a slip yoke for the driveshaft. GS300 uses a 3 bolt flange for the tailshaft. All internals are the same besides the tailshaft section. So you can take the transmission apart and swap the output shaft of the 2 transmissions, but at that point you might as well of just rebuilt your own transmission lol. You pretty much have to tear the entire trans apart to swap the output shaft. Whats wrong with yours? Are you boosting it or is it just slipping?

Thanks dude the reason for my question cause one of my Cousin has an extra is300 transmission Yeah Im having slipping problem Plus the transmission Fluid looks super black. I was just thinking about doing a transmission flush hopefully it help a little.

If it slips, just replace it with transmission fluid. probably 80% thats the reason why it's slipping. Plus you said its black, its suppose to be cherry red.
