so i have an automatic 2001 is300 that im buying and when i took it to the shop and the mechanic took a look around he said that the transmission in second gear doesnt respond/work too well. he says that it should be smooth but theres a lag response or something. its 365 to fix but is that a huge issue? im taking the car up from cali to michigan for school and i need to know if thats something i need to fix asap since when i drove it nothing seemed to be a problem. also on a nother note, is taking an is300 up to michigan a bad idea? i hear both good and bad about this car in the snow.
