Installing wheels spacers
Does anyone know what is involved in installing wheel spacers with new studs? Do you just need to tap out the old studs & put the new ones in? There's no need to remove any other parts correct? I'm going to be installing 5mm spacers from H&R. Thanks for the info.

I'm new here and actually don't have the car yet. I get is very soon!!! but anyways i remember reading about them on a thread. Search the forum for 'slammed BMW' or just 'BMW' There is some good info about this on that thread. They talk a lot about the wheel adapter needed to put BMW wheels on our cars and how to do it.

I havent done it to our cars yet, but ive done it to my rex. Basically thats what you do. But you might run into an obsticle taking it out or putting it in. I had to shave a part of the stud and cut a piece of the spindle on the rex. Or you can take it all apart=alot of work

I searched a bunch & figured out how to do it. Doesn't seem to bad. I just did the brakes so I'm pretty familiar with all that. The Tourmaline wheels I have are +45 offset, but the spokes to inward & that's my clearance issue. Just hope the 5mm spacer does the trick. I'm so annoyed with this right now.

Gotta say I never thought this through. I was planning to run 19mm spacers, so do i have to cut my stock studs for that? The adapters/spacers I'm looking at will have studs on them.
