a shop told me that if i install spacers on my car, i will need to always be worry about the spacers getting loose and my wheel can flew away.
while another shop said that no problem will be if i install them.
who to beilive?
I say project kics are the best spacers around. if you go with spacers, make sure you are going with hubcentric ones. that will keep the wheel from sliding around on the spacer. with after market wheels, you might have to get hubcentric rings for the wheels too. whatever you do, dont just get the spacers which are just a plate btwn the hub and wheel. if you install spacers and feel the wheels vibrating under heavy braking, then you have problems. do it right and everything should feel fine.
get hubcentric spacers with longer studs to replace the stock ones. get hubcentric rings for your wheels if they are aftermarket wheels. do this and you shouldn't have to worry. i had 15mm spacers on and had no problems with them.
