What is this???? Please help Gs 400
Ive notice for the last three days when I crank my car up( GS 400) in the morning I hear like a strange noise coming from the front of the engine sounds like bearings or something came home and park the car when i came out to it this morning I noticed my serptine belt was on the ground it came off..... all of the pulleys are turning except for the crank pulley what could be my issue Thanks

well timing isnt screwed but i would still look into it.
im thinking the bolt that holds the crank pulley to the crank has backed off.
check all pulleys and check ur tensioner for any play while ur at it. take off covers and inspect the timing belt.

If your crank pulley is seized and you can't turn the engine over by hand -- I wouldn't go any further. Remove the timing pulley covers and check to see if the belt is still on, there are markings on the belt that will tell you where it is supposed to line up.
The tensioner or the idler pulley?
Idler pulley is what moves for the accessory belt to give it "tension". This can be found at any advance/autozone/oreilly for like $80.00 with a core charge.

If your crank pulley is seized and you can't turn the engine over by hand -- I wouldn't go any further. Remove the timing pulley covers and check to see if the belt is still on, there are markings on the belt that will tell you where it is supposed to line up.

I agree with checking the timing belt to make sure it is still on and intact. Looks like the pulley either seized or the bolt is in bad shape. I would check a junkyard to see if you can get a bolt and install on your car and see if the crank spins freely. Don't force it though, if the pulley itself is bad (likely is) then again, see if you can grab one from the junkyard

I'm going to drop it off at toyota and let them deal with it where is the best place to get water pump and timing belt from?Thanks

You cant turn the crank pulley freely like you would turn the other pullies. You would need a socket and a and a ratchet and you would turn the motor by hand.
Just buy a new tensioner pulley at autozone or toyota and a serpentine belt and your good. end of story. They are easy to change yourself. The fact that you said the tensioner pulley is all woobly and was screaching tells the story.

if you're going to drop it off at toyota/mechanic, and don't know what's wrong or what exactly to fix, I would say don't bother getting a water pump or timing belt.
They know how to order parts. Sure sometimes there's a higher price, depending on the sales practices of your shop; but better than you wasting money on parts you don't need.
Some shops give fair prices and parts (or can present you with a choice based on their parts supplier network), and don't use parts as a way to hide costs.
