have you considered taking it to a mechanic to have the SRS system scanned to find out what the code is for?

that should have been the first step before even making a post on this

how could it be easier? were not psychic so without knowing a code its almost impossible to guess what it could be since there ARE so many things it could be

i use my mechanics scanners for free so its not cheaper for me either

... i dont even know what to say. everything just seems to spark an argument with you.
regardless, for me personally, a post was the most convenient for ME.

update on the stupid light- just keeps coming on and off randomly.

not EVERYTHING just things like this that shouldn't be posted BEFORE they are looked into.....(or before you had the codes read)

if i made a post that said, guys my CEL just came on (which it did last week) and i then said "any ideas or has this happened to you guys?" i would get roasted not to mention i would feel silly cause their are A MILLION possibilities...without us knowing the codes we cant guess as to why this happened. im not trying to spark a argument as you say BUT help us help you....get the codes THEN come back and ask ""any ideas or has this happened to you guys?" and we can try and actually help you. i have had airbag lights before and when i pulled the code i knew what they were from (or what i did to cause them) but i would have never known without getting the code
