Hello everyone, I'm Will, last Sunday I bought a 2004 GS430, so I thought the first thing I should do is join a forum. So far I have seen a lot of information on this forum which is good. If anyone has any info for me or things I should watch out for about the car, please let me know, other wise I'm happy to be apart of Club Lexus. Thanks

The power is fantastic, I traded an 08 350Z for the GS and I do not regret it one bit. It feels like it pulls a lot harder.

Are the lower ball joints and control arms an issue with the GS430's?

No, but some people get confused. 98-00 GS had weak ball joints, and people with modified suspension + oversized wheels typically wear out the bushings on the controls arms quickly. Neither should be a concern for you. Enjoy the 430!

Thanks for the welcome everyone. I will post some pictures soon. I'm completely totally in love with this car, when i bought it had quite a bit of miles on it already, and the rear sub was blown, but other than that the car runs sound, and the interior is in real good condition. The power is awesome, didn't really buy it to go fast though, but it is nice to know that i still have all the passing power that I need and want.

I will have to take a look at the lower control arms and ball joints. Thanks for the tip.

any suggestions on the sub replacement?
