1998 gs300 oil leak
I have a 1998 gs300. I replaced crank and cam seals but still have major leak. It appears to be around the crank seal which is new. I replaced crank seal again just to be safe but still leaks. Has anyone seen this problem before? Could it be the oil pump relief valve which is above the crank seal? The car has 220k. New valve cover gaskets as well.

+1 Yeah i agree, check out your VVT-i pulley. I'm actually in the process of replacing it and i replaced the cam seals, thinking that was the problem, but turned out it was actually coming from the pulley itself. If your still uncertain that it is the VVT-i pulley, take off the top portion of the timing cover and you will see oil all over your belt and a pool of small oil on the bottom lip of the VVT-i pulley. All of that oil drips all the way down to the crankshaft gear/seal area inside your timing covers.. In my case, i purchased a new pulley from SEWELL and got it for 174.53 W/ 2-day FEDEX shipping or 140ish w/ Standard shipping VS rebuilding it for like 10-15 dollars. But that's just me, i don't like to take my chances. Tomorrow i will know for sure if that was my problem, which I'm sure it is.
