Question o2 simulator question

I have aftermarket headers and had code P0146 so I bought and installed a 02 simulator and now I'm getting code P0141. My question is if anyone that has experience in this thinks that my o2 sensor is bad, the o2 simulator is bad or if I installed it wrong. I found a Diy and did it like it said to but now i'm getting a new code. I already tried searching but found no one with the same problem. Any input on the matter will be greatly appreciated

Well, 141 is a sensor heater malfunction, and 146 is no sensor activity detected.

So it seems as the doesn't see the sensor(simulator). The sims are either bad or wired wrong.

It reads like you only used one. You have two post cat sensors, and need to take care of them both..

You have 4 sensors total, you must keep the two primary sensors in the header. The two post-cat sensors are what you eliminate. The car should throw PO420 and PO430 codes with no cats. But still run ok.

How is your car running?

Can you take a pic of how u installed it in the fuse box. I had OBX headers in my GS and had a buddy help me wire it. I have an idea of what you are doing wrong but i need to see it.

The car runs fine but I need to get the my Texas state inspection and it wont pass if it is throwing a Cel thats why I got a simulator but I was sure to get the dual output one so it would take care of both after cat sensors. I will take pictures of how I installed it and post them up tomorrow.

I bought this one---->http://www.o2simulator.com/index.php...products_id=10

But on the pictures of the Diy install the simulator looked more like this one but I didn't get it because it says that it is for a 2004+ Lexus------->http://www.o2simulator.com/index.php...products_id=11

This is the link of the Diy--------->https://www.clublexus.com/forums/per...with-pics.html

My car is throwing P0430 and P0159. I don’t have cats and I have sims that have worked well for 1200 Miles. Are both of these codes related to the lack of cats and can I still drive it hard safely?

Bummer you battery was disconnected during the install.
You can see my journey as I have been there ...... done it. All sorted.

POST 39 is what you want to do.
