then you need to know if they have the service records, if the maintenance is up to date, what the carfax says, etc,etc,etc....but right now the biggest info missing is how much they are wanting for it since you didnt mention this.
BTW welcome to our club from the islands you got a few members over there with some REALLY nice 2nd gen's

I drove half way across the country with almost 200k on the clock without any trouble at all. With that many miles on the car you should pay attention to all the bushings, ball-joints, shocks and maintenance record. When I bought mine, there was hardly any maintenance record for the car at all. After some thorough inspection it was determined that the engine was in good shape so I went for it.
If you have doubts then take it to a competent mechanic for a presale inspection. I don't know how much the person is asking in your case, but I got mine for 3800 with a clean title.

well edmunds tags it at $7,900 and thats fully loaded ML, Chrome Wheels and Xenon Lights so if it does not have those I would peg it at $5,630, what you do is give them a price like $4,900 tell them thats what you want if they try to haggle walk out they usually call you back.

I bought my 2000 GS300 Platinum edition with factory navigation, HID and heated seats for $6700 and it had 139k miles. But as for maintance wise know matter what the seller says or shows me i always do all my maintance over again. But its probably easier for me to supply my parts and do everything since i work for toyota.
